Il Comitato Italia 150 e il Festival Club To Club presentano il Premio “La musica elettronica italiana nel 2061″.

Il Premio è realizzato nell’ambito di Esperienza Italia, la grande festa per i 150 anni dell’unità d’Italia (Torino, 17 marzo-20 novembre 2011) che guarda al passato, al presente ma soprattutto al futuro del Paese. Ed è proprio in questo ambito che si inserisce “La musica elettronica italiana nel 2061″: un’occasione per immaginare come sarà l’Italia del prossimo domani e in particolare la sua musica.

Saranno premiati undici brani e altrettanti artisti o gruppi italiani che ne saranno autori e/o esecutori e che rappresentino la migliore e più avveniristica musica elettronica italiana.

Il premio è dedicato alla musica elettronica di qualsiasi stile o matrice ed è aperto con iscrizione gratuita a tutti gli artisti o gruppi di nazionalità italiana, che siano residenti in Italia oppure all’estero. Le iscrizioni saranno aperte il 14 giugno 2010 al sito www.premio2061.it e si chiuderanno il 31 luglio 2010.

I brani scelti dopo la prima fase di selezione (realizzata da alcuni dei più prestigiosi operatori del settore nazionali) verranno pubblicati nel mese di settembre sul sito www.clubtoclub.it/premio2061, in modalità streaming. Ai nove brani preferiti dal Comitato Tecnico si aggiungeranno i due più votati dal pubblico, a raggiungere il totale di undici brani che comporranno la compilation digitale “La Musica Elettronica Italiana nel 2061″.

La lista degli undici brani vincitori verrà annunciata ufficialmente nel novembre 2010, in occasione della decima edizione del Festival di Musiche, Arti e Culture Elettroniche “Club To Club”. La premiazione dei vincitori e la presentazione della compilation saranno protagonisti di un appuntamento di Esperienza Italia nel 2011.

Inoltre in novembre saranno annunciati anche un premio alla carriera dedicato a uno dei più grandi e influenti musicisti italiani che nei decenni trascorsi ha saputo creare musica innovativa e dalla visione rivolta al futuro, e un premio per la miglior etichetta discografica italiana legata al mondo della musica elettronica.

Ad assegnarli sarà lo stesso Comitato Tecnico, formato da alcuni fra i più prestigiosi operatori nazionali del settore, ovvero:

A lot of work this year with elita milano, the renewed cultural meeting during the design week in Milan.
From 13 to 18 of April a larger amount of clubs joined the elita city network to buld the largest city clubbing event in Italy.
The greatest new was the new headquarter location at Teatro Franco Parenti, a wonderful location with 3 theatre, 2 workshops room, an art gallery and a very nice structure buld up by Michele De Lucchi in 2008.
A very long program with music (Gonzales, Mouse on Mars, The Chemical Brothers, Loco Dice, Pantha du Prince, Le luci della centrale elettrica, Jon Hopkins to mention just a few…), but also a longer program on the cultural side, with 6 art/design exhibition – including MUSIC BY OBEY by The Don Gallery, 21032 VENICE by Fondazione Claudio Buziol, EMECO 111 Navy Chair with Coca- Cola, KILOHERTZ Body Music Room and so on…. and 2 conference a day with design and music stories with Arthur Russell’s biographer Tim Lawrence, The Heavy Metal Scene in Islam, the Citroen ds3 designer and some maestros like Alessandro Mendini, Italo Rota, Francesco Morace and emerging talents like David Adjaye, Giulio Iacchetti, Martino Gamper.
The story starts on 13th of april with an opening presenting last Fabio Novembre works: a book titled The design explained to my mother.

Elita Milano Design Week Music & Arts festival presented the V edition. The new headquarter will be Teatro Franco Parenti, an amazing location in the city center: more than 5.400 mt.sq. with 6 different areas: The Theatre – for live performances; The Bistro, for live and dj’s plus restaurant and bar; The Conference Hall, The Lab – for special projects;  The Art Gallery; Arthur Russell’s Square.

The concept of the 2010 edition is NEXT ATTITUDE, which inspired the natural ambience of the campaign by Strutturaleggera.

Live events include: Gonzales solo piano, Atom Tm live media show, Seansational live; Jon Hopkins live media show and many more. Here the complete list of artists.

The arts shows include a Shepard Fairey (ak.a. Obey Giant) exhibition while the conference hall will host a big meeting on Italian Reinassance.

A special project produced with Istituto Europeo del Design – Th eItalian Laptop Orchestra – will be presented on the 17th of april before the awaitedacustic live show by Le luci della centrale elettrica.

The festival program will include as well night activities with main city clubs and venues presenting artist like Loco Dice, Who made who and more.

30.000 people are expected to attend the festival wich is going to be the cultural area during the international renewied design week in Milano.
